Damon Smith also known as Mr. Hey Now is an author and artist born in Kansas City and raised in St. Louis MO. After serving two terms of incarceration in the Missouri Department of Corrections, made his mother a promise to turn his life around and use his God given talent with words to move his life in a different direction. Speaking purely from the urban/street perspective his stories, poetry, and music paint the picture of the experiences he has endured throughout his life.
